About PeiRCE BLOCK
Constructed in 1912, The Peirce Block was one of many downtown buildings constructed in the aftermath of the Great Bangor Fire of 1911. Named after its owner, Anna Hayford Peirce, the building is a particularly fine example of the commercial architecture raised in Bangor during the great rebuilding of 1911-1915.
